On January 25, 2023, Robinhood's social media accounts (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) were compromised and used to promote a fake RBH token on the BNB Chain. 95 BNB (~$8,200) from users who fell for the scam, with the account believed to have been compromised via a third-party vendor.
