On June 28, 2021, SafeDollar's staking pool on Polygon was exploited via incompatibility with deflationary tokens. The attacker used flash-loaned PLX to deplete the contract's actual balance to ~2 tokens while maintaining inflated deposit records, causing the reward formula to mint massive SDO amounts.
These were sold for ~$248K in USDC and USDT.
